Hello!

My name is Rae. I am an Usui Reiki Master, hospice volunteer, and a Speech-Language Pathologist.  As a hospice volunteer, I treat the patients with reiki, guided meditations, and provide the caregivers with emotional support. I am currently training to become a Breath of Gold Facilitator to provide clients with modern types of breathwork such as circular connected breathwork, three-part breathwork, and 4-8 breathing.

My mission is

  • to spread awareness about holistic therapies such as reiki and breathwork.

  • to help people release energetic blocks and restore their bodies by promoting inner balance and creating a regulated nervous system, so they can find relief in their physical, emotional, and spiritual self.

  • to help people heal their bodies and respond to daily stressors more efficiently.

My vision is

  • to support the collective by teaching Level I Reiki for daily self-care and for the care of loved ones.  Daily self-care is an essential component to everyone’s life. Without it, we often find ourselves struggling emotionally, mentally, and physically day to day.

My journey…

I started my reiki and mindfulness journey in November 2015. I was in the middle of changing careers and taking care of my family. I developed major anxiety and panic attacks. One day during my externship as an SLP, I had a panic attack. My supervisor saw this and asked if she could give me reiki. I agreed. I had heard of reiki but didn’t know much about it. I was stunned that after a few minutes. I felt at ease and a sense of calm washed over me.

After this profound experience, I found a reiki practitioner. She provided me weekly reiki for a month and then I started to fade the sessions over the next several months. I was amazed by the results. The panic attacks no longer existed and my anxiety lessened tremendously. I felt a sense of peace and a regulated nervous system for the first time in a long time. I was also seeing a therapist and she introduced me to mindfulness. Since then, I have devoured as much information as I could on reiki and mindfulness.

My experience inspired me to become an Usui Reiki Master in November 2016. I also have taken many seminars and courses on mindfulness. Since then, I’ve been on a journey to educate the collective about reiki and mindfulness.

In 2023 and 2024, I have experienced transformational breathwork sessions. So powerful, I never thought I would be able to release energetic blocks due to limited belief systems, generational trauma, childhood conditioning, and inner child wounds.

I’ve found so much healing using reiki and breathwork around self-love, authenticity, eating disorders, body dysmorphia, and chronic physical and emotional symptoms.

It is my purpose to help people find healing and cultivate peace within so they can step into their light and become their authentic self.

With love and light,

Rae
